Portrait of Me As a Writer

When you see me writing, I often look concerned or very focused. The craft does not come naturally to me and that is portrayed by my physical features. My brows are furrowed, my eyes narrowed. It is not attractive but my lips are slightly parted or are being chewed on. I'm likely taking pauses and swiping back and forth from my writing to the prompt. I'm very literal and like to check that I'm doing exactly what needs to be done. Between furious typing and repetitive swiping, there is a blank stare. I write in sprints, taking a few minutes to get all of my thoughts on the page then taking another moment to review and create more thoughts. I am the picture of concentration while writing and though it is a long process for me, it usually turns out just fine.
