Writing Center
During the second semester, I only visited the writing center once. I just went today to get my revisions and blog post checked over. I wasn't sure exactly what I needed help with so I just chose a few small things from this project. I first got the writing fellow to look over my literary analysis to help me know what main things to revise, and she suggested I run it through Grammarly and watch out for the things that were written on the rubric. We then looked at my blog and I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to go over so I just chose a post and read it aloud to see if it flowed. She thought the writing was very good and then suggested that I read all of my posts aloud so that I can tell what parts need to be changed. We also talked about my most common issues that I can correct in my revision and why they need to be corrected. Ultimately, I felt as if this writing center visit was more helpful than my first and actually made me appreciate the editing tool of reading my work aloud.
